Even though The Nields' debut album, "Gotta Get Over Greta," was one of the most-hailed folk-rock albums of 1996, the band is having a second go at the larger market with a new record label and three fresh tracks. Sisters Katryna and Nerissa Nields' warbled harmonies play over layers of electric and acoustic pop, bouncy and cynical on "Best Black Dress," wistful and wise on "All My Pretty Horses." The group's perceptive songwriting carries over into the new tunes, reminiscent of Joni Mitchell on "Taxi Girl," bristling and rhythmic on "Einstein's Daughter." Their rendition of the Beatles' "Lovely Rita" is equally tasty.
